Double fees.  All the above fees will be DOUBLED for persons who were not inhabitants of the Parish of Markfield at the time of their death but who had a very strong connection with Markfield.  This surcharge will be relaxed for long term residents who have lived within the parish for at least 25 years, but who lived outside the parish for health care reasons normally for no longer than five years prior to their death.

Treble fees.  All the above fees will be TREBLED for persons who were not inhabitants of the Parish of Markfield at the time of death and who did not have a very strong connection with Markfield.

These rules do not apply when an exclusive right of burial has been acquired by a person who at the time of the acquisition was an inhabitant of the parish.
