MI Junction 23A – 23 Southbound – Maintenance Works

Essential maintenance works are due to be carried out on the M1 between junctions 23A and 23 Southbound.

The work is due to commence on 7 February 2022 and is due to be completed by May 2022.  The work will be carried out in phases between:

11 pm and 5 am – Monday to Friday on the M1 southbound carriageway

8 pm to 6 am – Monday to Friday on the M1/A42 southbound exit slip road

During these times there will be a full closure of the M1 southbound carriageway between junctions 23A and 23 including the southbound exit slip road, and A453 entry to M1/A42 southbound at Junction 23A.
