Public Notice of Garden of Remembrance Improvement Works, Markfield Cemetery

 

 

Improvement work to the five Gardens of Remembrance at Markfield Cemetery will be undertaken during the Summer 2020.

 

The work will include: removing and replacing the timber edging around each Garden; removal and spraying of weeds within the Gardens; and the spreading of new wood chip bark over the Gardens.

 

Any memorials on the Gardens of Remembrance that need to be temporarily moved to enable access during the works will be treated with due care and will be returned to their original position as soon as possible.
